Earlier this month, a
20-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by two of her neighbours in Lahore’s
Mozang area.

According to details,
the victim was alone at her residence when her neighbours Ehsan Ali and Hassan
allegedly barged into the house, subjected her to severe torture and then
sexually assaulted her.

The unit would
investigate rape, molestation and harassment cases only like the previously

The government would
deploy separate Investigation Officers (IOs) to probe into such incidents only.
