The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Friday issued a notice to the secretary interior seeking his reply by November 22 to a petition filed by ex-PTI MNA from Mansehra Saleh Muhammad Khan in which he had challenged the inclusion of his name in the no-fly list saying he wanted to go abroad. Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiani asked the secretary to give reasons for putting the name of ex-lawmaker on the list.

Speaking on the occasion, the SHO told the court that the petitioner’s name was included in the no-fly list. Ex-MNA’s lawyer said that a case had been registered against his client in 2022 for protesting outside the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) building. The court asked whether the petitioner was on bail. The SHO replied in affirmative. The court further asked whether challan in the case had been submitted. The SHO replied in affirmative.
